Operation: Dear John
In the new film Dear John, Savannah (Amanda Seyfried) sends letters to John (Channing Tatum) while he's overseas with the Army. In real life, American military personnel need YOUR letters, cards, poems, pictures, videos – anything that tells them how much you appreciate what they're doing for you.

AdoptaPlatoon Soldier Support Effort®, founded in 1998, is a volunteer-based non-profit 501(c)(3) dedicated to serving deployed United States servicemen and women, ensuring that they are not forgotten by a grateful nation. AdoptaPlatoon strives to provide a better deployment quality of life by sending cards, letters and care packages to lift the morale of U.S. troops as they serve far from home. AdoptaPlatoon assists military families and also provides an emergency assistance program for wounded/injured service members through AAP Walking Wounded Program.
