Technology has helped many of people do many things they once couldn’t do without it. And here’s another thing to add to the list: The Eye Mouse.
A group of researchers from Polytechnic University in the West Bank city, Hebron, have created a tool to help people who have limited abilities to move use a computer. It connects the movement of your eyes to your computer, allowing you to look up, down, left and right, just like you would with a mouse, to navigate your screen. Though the researchers had physically challenged people in mind for this tool, there’s no reason why it can’t become a part of anyone’s computer use.
Right now, you do have to attach censors to your face for the Eye Mouse to work, but for those who want to go hands free, that might not be such a big deal.
But what do you think? Would you mouse around using your eyes, or are you going to stick to the old-fashioned way to browse and let your fingers do the walking? Vote in the poll to tell us what you think.
