Car crashes are the leading cause of death for U.S. teens, most of which are attributed to inexperienced driving. The minimum driving age is set at 16 in most states, but some groups want it increased to 18. Many teens and parents are not happy, however, and say that raising the driving age unfairly punishes responsible drivers.
