Meet Will Burton, he's an average teenager with a penchant for music and an unfortunate knack for getting stuffed into lockers. Meet Charlotte Banks, a former cheerleader who wants to take revenge on her egomaniac ex-boyfriend by beating him in a battle of the bands competition.Now, combine Will's knowledge of music and Charlotte's singing and guitar skills with their new eclectic band of misfits who play instruments from the drums, to the cello. And, what do you get? A musical romantic-comedy you'll sing along with like High School Musical!
The movie Bandslam (PG) is about new guy, Will Burton, played by Gaelan Connell, who moves to a New Jersey town and meets aspiring singer-songwriter Charlotte Banks, played by Aly Michalka. They immediately invest themselves in creating a band to compete in the end of school year event. Along the way, Burton falls for loner and undiscovered talent Sa5m (with a silent 5), who is played by Vanessa Hudgens.
Follow the band's hilarious antics on and off stage as they rehearse, make tough choices and compete for their moment in the spotlight.
