Cypress

The cypress tree has many meanings across cultures. By Celtic tradition, the tree represents faithfulness, and people born with this birth tree are strong and adaptable, while also being optimistic about life. In Greek mythology, it symbolizes another type of faithfulness -- it's associated with the afterlife.

The cypress, or more specifically, the bald cypress is also the state tree of Louisiana.
