Tony Stark has his work cut out for him in his quest for world peace in the steely sequel Iron Man 2. Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as the cocky and ingenious Mr. Stark, CEO of Stark Industries and newly acclaimed superhero. Since his famous reveal at a press conference when he said, "I am Iron Man," to a room full of reporters, Stark is under some new pressures in this action-packed Marvel movie.

As Stark strives to help people, invent new gadgets and a new element at home -- the palladium powering his very existence is also leaching a poison into his body. Plus, who can't forget the spurned industrial competitor looking for any chance to take Stark down a peg, maybe with the help of a aggressive ally named Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke)?.

But with the help of Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), who he names the new CEO of his company in this edition, and his friends, Stark's future hangs in the balance. Will his industrial skills, ingenuity and some explosive surprises be enough to save the day?
