Luol Deng is many things. He is a Chicago Bull, a member of the Great Britain national basketball team, a member of the Dinka tribe, but his most important role might be humanitarian.
Born in the Sudan, Luol is one of nine kids. He was raised in England after 1993 when his father was granted political asylum in the U.K. because of the fighting in the country, and he’s never forgotten his roots.
