Graduate Requirements

Unrecognizable group of people throwing graduations hats in the

The numbers don’t lie when it comes to a college education – you’re almost guaranteed to earn more over the course of your career if you’ve got a Bachelor’s.

And for one high school in Orgeon, at least taking a shot at attending a university is required for graduation. That’s right – if you want to walk across the stage in a cap and gown, you’ve got to have been admitted to a post-secondary, degree-granting institution.

While many are behind the policy, saying it gives kids who normally wouldn’t have considered college a reason to explore higher education, so think it might cause too much pressure on already-stressed students. Some critics also contend that the only reason the school implemented the policy was to boost its ranking.

Students should not have to apply for college to get their high school diploma. It is their choice. I mean if they don’t want to go to college after high school, at least they got their high school diploma. P.s. Please pick my comment I watch channel one every day at school.

Students should not have to go to college to get a diploma. Maybe they want to be part of a family business or play sports. Also what if you don’t have money for college. Maybe they want to start their own business. Maybe they want to wait or not go to college.
