What's Your Body Image?

Find out if you have a skewed view of yourself.

KNOW THE WARNING SIGNS:

  • Extreme weight loss
  • Drastic weight change
  • Severe weight loss over short periods of time

BINGE EATING:

  • Hoarding Food
  • Eating alone
  • Eating excessive amounts

CALORIE COUNTING

  • Eating only "safe" foods, or those low in calories, fat or carbs

ALWAYS ON THE RUN:

  • Compulsion, or need to exercise all the time
  • Excessive, or over exercising

FOOD RITUALS:

  • Preparing food but not eating
  • Cutting food into small pieces
  • Playing with food

AVOIDING MEALS:

  • Missing/skipping meals
  • Wanting to eat alone

SCALE ADDICTION:

  • An obsession with weight
  • Repeated trips to the scale

RISKY BEHAVIOR

  • Trying to suppress hunger by smoking, despite the health and legal risks

SKEWED BODY IMAGE:

  • View of one's self not consistent with what others see
  • Persistent image of self as overweight, even after weight loss
