School of the Future

How's it different from your school? The $63 million eight-acre Philadelphia campus includes a 480-seat performing arts center, science labs, two gyms and a fitness room, centered around the school's interactive learning hub. Students use digital lockers, online planning calendars and laptops instead of books.

School perks: Co-created by the brains at Microsoft, students simulate a typical workday (arrive at 9:15 a.m. and leave before 5 p.m.) and focus on traditional business exercises like team building and time management. Plus, with flexible class schedules and personalized lesson plans, students learn at their own speed and level.
