Next, think about the future. I know it's obscure, but consider your talents, interests and how they will help form your life after high school. We're not trying to get all after-school-special on you, but it's good to consider what you like doing and your skills for life beyond high school.
Do you like to paint? Are you into math? Are you the fastest person on your track team? These types of interests can help you pick extracurricular activities and classes that may lead you to a college, technical school or training program later.
Does your town have a junior college? Are there some classes you could take on top of your regular schedule? You do not have to limit yourself to your school's activities and courses. Think about the big picture, there are many options available to you, the more things you do that you enjoy and convey your interest, the better your activities will look to future schools and employers.
