Channel One (CH1): It's clear that you were inspired to start your blog because of concerns over the nutritional value and quality of school lunches, but was there a last straw? Was there an incident (or particular lunch!) that set you off?

Mrs. Q: I wish I could say that there was one inspiration, but really it was just a crazy idea I got in December when I sat down to write my goals for 2010, which I do every year. I think I had eaten the "bagel dog" at one point in the Fall and I was pretty surprised that it was being served to the kids. It wasn't right after I ate that school lunch I came up with my idea.

But I guess it just simmered at the back of my mind and eventually my mind just spat out the idea for the blog.
