Hear it Now

The Manzano brothers from Sarasota, Florida began their rise to fame when they founded their band, Boyce Avenue in 2004. Taking the names of two childhood streets and their life of making music together, Alejandro (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Fabian (guitar, vocals) and Daniel (bass, percussion, vocals) combined their skills and talents to make music. Their partnership, which allows them to make decisions and help each other due to their specific strengths, is also a deep rooted family tradition of respect, unity and music.

"We have a very close relationship," said Alejandro in an interview, "like best friends." From sharing a room growing up, to sharing in the success of their band Boyce Avenue, by 2007 all three brothers began to take the band seriously. They posted covers of top hits on YouTube while writing and recording original ones for their upcoming album, All Your Meant to Be (2008). "We started to take it seriously, in our own way. We wanted to utilize the internet," explained Alejandro, 23. "Traditionally, bands will hop in a van and start a tour, but that didn't appeal to us, it didn't seem efficient."

And, they were right. After only four days of posting covers songs on YouTube, they already had thousands of views. (A Linkin Park cover would go on to receive nine million views, alone.) Now that the band is releasing their second album on June 15, 2010, they are hitting the road for their U.S. and Canada tour on June 17. Boyce Avenue plans to play the fresh new styles of their album including their single "Every Breath." With deep ties to their family's love for making music together, in combination with their influences like the Goo Goo Dolls, Coldplay, John Mayer and Train -- Boyce Avenue's second release will surely top their last.
