The great thing about a movie soundtrack is that it can be a perfect playlist -- depending on the theme, it can let you indulge in a little wallowing, get you pumped up and ready to go to school, help you make it through a long jog, or put you in the perfect mood for a night out. So if you're psyched about Disney's new movie "Prom" starring FNL's Aimee Teegarden, Thomas McDonell and Nicolas Braun (it's out in theatres on April 29th!), we've got good news for you -- there's also a soundtrack.
The CD features new and emerging artists, including Allstar Weekend's "Not Your Birthday," "We'll Be Alright" from Travie McCoy and the Neon Trees' "Your Surrender," all of which you can listen to right here. You can also catch the video for "Not Your Birthday" below.
Other tracks on the album include "Dreams" by the Boston electro-pop band Passion Pit, "We Could Be Anything" by actor Nolan Sotillo, who also co-stars in the film, Montreal-based pop-punk band Simple Plan with "Can't Keep My Hands Off of You" and San Antonio sister act Girl in A Coma with "Come On, Let's Go."
