From press about their ambitious desire to be the best in rock and roll, to their more modest claims about their social activities in high school, The Pink Spiders are anything but your average twenty-something band. Since these guys burst on to the scene back in 2004 with their first EP, The Pink Spiders are Taking Over!, they've been busy recording and making their presence known to fans.

In addition to The Pink Spiders' rock and roll vigor and unabashed ambition, the band has experienced their fair share of water down the spout in their upward climb to success -- including sleeping in subways, donating plasma to fund their tour and putting their clothes in Laundromat dryers to warm themselves when it was cold outside while touring.

Yet despite these hardships, members, Nathan Hansen, Nick Slack and Matt Friction (whose names sound destined for rock-stardom), know how to have a good time, while remaining focused on their goal. It's no wonder that these neon-wearing and seemingly shy on camera-musicians are a fave among teens and critics alike as they continue to weave their web of pop-rock riffs, sass and modern punk flare.
