Trevor Hall
Hear it Now
There's something mellow and holistic about Trevor Hall's approach to music. With a strong grasp of the fundamentals of music, due to Hall's musician father and his training at the Idyllwild School for the arts in California, Hall balances his own reggae and folk-rock flair with classic guitar training.
Trevor Hall grew up playing music and writing songs after school every day in North Carolina. When he was 16-years-old he moved to California to pursue music at Idyllwild. Hall's parents were always supportive of his hobby that soon developed into his talent.
While attending the prestigious international boarding school, he learned classical guitar skills and had "the best time of his life," playing music and meeting new people. As a senior he was signed by Geffen Records. Though the relationship didn't pan out, it was an introduction into the industry and inspired him to put out his first album, "This is Blue," with friend Chris Steele.
Currently, Hall's journey includes a new album release and touring. To hear Trevor Hall play live in the Channel One studio, of for your free lesson from the guitarist himself, watch the videos below.
