Giant Squid!

It's no fish story. Japanese scientists have photographed one of the world's rarest sea creatures-- a giant squid.

The scientifically named Architeuthis, familiarized in popular fables like Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," was captured on film for the first time as it trolled for food 3,000 feet below the ocean's surface.
