How the Navajo code works
The code uses Navajo words to stand for letters. In place of A, it uses the word for "ant" (wol-la-chee).To encode your name, just replace each letter with the appropriate Navajo word like this: Andy is (A) wol-la-chee, (N) nesh-chee, (D) be, (Y) tsah-as-zih.
| Letter | Code word | Navajo word |
| A | Ant | Wol-la-chee |
| B | Bear | Shush |
| C | Cat | Moasi |
| D | Deer | Be |
| E | Elk | Dzeh |
| F | Fox | Ma-e |
