How Does a Caucus Affect the Race?

The results of the caucuses can be an important predictor of the presidential race. Sometimes the winners of a caucus end up with their parties' national nominations. But, some candidates who came in 2nd or 3rd still became final contenders for President. Regardless of how accurate they are, each state's picks will be voiced as part of the Democratic and Republican National Conventions.
