Who Can Vote?

Some states have "closed" primaries, where only registered members of a party can vote for a candidate of that party. In an "open" primary, any voter (regardless of party affiliation) can vote for any candidate. Democrats can vote for Republicans, Independents can vote for Democrats, and so on.
