The Canadian Mounties, or Royal Canadian Mountain police, wear an iconic uniform and are the national police force of Canada.

Formed in 1920, they are responsible for enforcing Canadian federal laws, as well as provincial and local laws in eight out of 10 provinces. Ontario and Quebec have their own provincial law enforcement.
