Week in Rap Transcript for March 1st, 2010

Updated: March 04, 2010

We'd like to welcome ya'll to the month of March
So pay attention as the Week in Rap Starts

We said "Goodbye" to the winter games
While the US was countin' all the medals they had gained

37 was the count I was told
But even still, Canada got the most gold

It was cold ? but it didn't shock me
They beat The States in overtime in the game of hockey

But how 'bout ya boy, Jim Bunning
He tried to stop unemployment money from coming

He said the government was spending too fast
Though it took a little longer

The bill got passed
And down South, Chile's Earthquake

Was hard enough to literally shorten up an Earth date
Not to mention that it shifted our axis

About 3 inches is the level of exactness
And that sits on the list - number seven

Of the strongest quakes that Mother Earth's ever given
So can we stop to say, "Peace"

To all of the Chileans now in need of a release
But on a lighter note, flipping up the topic

Here's a little news in the world of Fiber Optics
Have ya'll heard about Topeka, in Kansas?

The city changed their name for a month, it bananas
Now it's, "Google" to attract the attention

Of their new high-speed internet connection
But how about the invention

The "Bloom Box"
It could give power from the city to the boon docks

It's what we?ve all been wishing
To have your own power plant without any emissions

Flocab will be back, ya better listen
See ya next week

For now, we've gone fishin'
