Your Turn: Teen Tanning Ban

Everyone knows that exposure to the sun has damaging affects like premature aging and cancer. Yet many people, especially teenagers, crave the spring break glow from lying out in the sun and going to tanning salons, despite these health risks.

In some states, such as Florida and Texas, lawmakers are trying to ban teens from using tanning beds because of the high risk of skin cancer. Some argue that the tan ban is similar to laws against teen smoking -- both are hazardous to teen health. Most of the states think the ban should be for teens 16-years-old and younger, but what do you think about teens and tanning?
