Your Turn: Texting While Driving

Cnt tlk now drvng. Catch u l8r. Even a quick text by the most nimble text-masters takes SOME concentration. Or does it? In addition to chatting on your cell, some states (N.J., Wash., and N.H., for example) have banned texting while driving and many more are thinking about it.

Do you think it's dangerous to text while you're behind the wheel? Does it not affect YOUR driving? Is texting better or worse than talking on your cell and should states have a say in the matter?
