Follow the Bouncing Ball

8.16.12

If you like to watch tennis, or any sport with a fast-moving ball as a part of the action, you might be into this new idea.

Scientists at a University in Japan  have developed a camera system that can follow fast-moving objects without making everyone watching the footage dizzy. It works because the camera itself doesn't actually move, it records what it captures in a set of mirrors instead. And it could have made a big difference if you watched any of the table tennis during The Summer Games!

What do you think? Will the new system revolutionize the way we watch sports? Cast your vote in the poll above and let us know.
