Is bionic vision the next big thing? online survey

OK, this new idea is something you've probably seen in a few sci-fi movies and thought, "cool." Now, a contact lens that's capable of projecting images -- letting you read messages and, dare we say it, you Facebook news feed, is closer to being real than ever before.

So far, researchers have only been able to make the lens work during tests on rabbits (it doesn't hurt them) and it can only project one pixel, which is really enough show you a whole message. But they expect to be able to include more information soon.

The question is, would you want to have access to information like this? Would you wear the lenses? Or is it maybe just a little TMI? Vote in the poll and tell us if bionic vision is the NBT!
