Since the invention of Sci-Fi, there has been speculation about the day everyone would tool around town in a car that goes without wheels and runs on bananas peels and other stuff you used to throw out in the garbage. And so far, in terms of transportation, that particular part of Tomorrowland had yet to arrive. But at this year’s New York International Auto Show, Shelby Holliday might have discovered the future. Behold — The Transition — a street-legal airplane-car.
The two-seat vehicle takes regular fuel, is welcome on the highway and you can even park it a regular-sized space in the driveway or garage. And though the ultimate dream for some New Yorker’s is a full-time driver, this thing looks like it would be a lot of fun to drive too. We want to hear what you think.
