Polar Bears


When the polar bear was added to a list of threatened species in 2008, it quickly became a symbol of the effects of global warming on the Arctic regions. Shelby Holliday recently took a trip with some high school students to the Arctic tundra near Churchill, Canada — aka — the Polar Bear capital of the world, to learn more.
