Read It Now
By Alexandra Adornetto
Wondering where on earth you are going to get your fix of epic romance now that that other series about supernatural/human romance has ended? Wonder no more.
Alexandra Adornetto has created the next Bella and Edward, a new Jack and Diane, a fresh Arthur and Guinevere -- you get the idea. The twist in this case is that instead of a human girl falling in love with a creature of the night, an angelic girl falls in love with plain old ordinary, super-cute, human boy.
When Bethany and her celestial siblings hit earth, something is rotten in their new hometown. It's up to them to seek out the bad guys and take care of them for the unsuspecting humans, but can they do it? Will Bethany be able to get past her fascination with posing as a mortal to destroy the immortal evil forces as she's been asked?

Q & A
Where are you from and what was it like growing up there?
I'm from Victoria, Australia so I?m used to wide open spaces and dry heat. I'm not a city girl, I love the country and my ideal place to write is surrounded by trees and horses. I've never seen snow, but where I went to school there were kangaroos around.
When did you first know that you wanted to be a writer and how did you get started?
I wrote my first novel when I was thirteen and I didn't expect it to get picked up so quickly, but Harper Collins contacted me and asked if I was interested in turning it into a trilogy. After that I started treating writing as my profession and I've been doing it for five years now.
Where did you find your inspiration for ?Halo'?
I studied religion at high-school. I was the only person in the whole year level who was excited about it. We looked at the concept of God in different religions and the ideas of salvation and redemption. That was where the idea for Halo was born.
What books and authors do you enjoy?
I read a whole range of books, but my favorites would have to be Catcher in the Rye, Wuthering Heights and Pride and Prejudice.
What's your favorite candy?
Pink cotton candy and Gobstoppers.
What do you like to do for fun?
Hit the town with my friends, play with my dogs, go horse-riding.
Can you give us any hints or spoilers for 'Hades'?
The angels haven't sent the last of Jake and he returns with a vengeance. Hades is a lot more dramatic and action-based and the supernatural occurrences ramp-up. There's also a twist at the end, that even my publishers didn't see coming!
