The NBT: Lost and Found

Transcript

Shelby: We have got the Week in Rap coming your way, but first let’s check out the Next Big Thing.

Last week, we told you about electronics that stick on your skin like tattoos. So, is Smart skin the next big thing? This one was split right down the middle. Fifty percent said, ‘Yes, Smart skin is in.’ And fifty percent said, ‘No, this skin thing is not so smart.’

Now, this week, we are checking out a product called Tile. And its makers say you will never have to worry about losing something ever again.

Stick the Tile on your bike, put it in your purse, or attach it to your keys. With the Tile app, you will be able to find whatever the Tile is attached to if it gets lost or, worse, stolen. The app will tell you how close you are. And you can also make your Tile ring. And you can log in on anyone’s phone to use the app to find your Tile. Plus, it will keep an eye out and send notifications if they locate your Tile. The Tile is lightweight and does not require batteries. You may never lose anything – at least permanently – again!

So, is the Tile app the next big thing? We want to know what you think, so be sure to vote over at Channelone.com.
