Scott: Now, how often have you sent a message to someone that doesn’t make any sense because you have hit all the wrong keys? Yeah. Happens to me all the time.
Well, a new type of keyboard could be the solution. On a touchscreen, you can’t feel the keys. But watch what happens with the haptic keyboard. It creates bumps on your screen so you don’t have to worry about fat fingers messing up your typing. The near weightless microfluidics panel replaces the top layer of a display screen. And it is simple to use. You want to type? The buttons bubble up.
The technology is still in development but will be available to consumers in 2013.
