Jessica: SATs and ACTs are around the corner, so it is perfect timing for this week’s idea from Jordan Liss, a sophomore at NYU.
After getting stressed while taking his ACT three years ago, Jordan invented a watch specially designed to help take the college entrance exams.
Just push a button and the watch will help you track how much time is left to finish the test. There are preset times for each section, like the math or reading portions of the exam.
The watch’s timer can also be used for tutoring, to simulate time conditions during a test.
The ACT watch went on the market a few weeks ago and sells for $40. There is an SAT watch in the works.
