Tom: Alright. It is time for your Friday favorites. And we are starting with our Next Big Thing, which could be helpful if you plan on traveling overseas. But let’s see what you thought about last week’s first.
We told you about an upgrade to the good ol’ fashioned paper airplane. PowerUp is a device which converts your paper airplane into a smartphone-controlled plane. So, is the PowerUp paper airplane the next big thing? Most of you agreed on this one.

The inspiration for this week’s Next Big Thing comes from the Olympic games. But I am not talking about the ones that are going on in Russia right now. Instead, I am talking about the ones that are going to happen in Tokyo in 2020.
You may never have to wonder what a menu says again. These intelligent glasses can translate English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese and display the translated words in a viewfinder. The tiny camera sends data to a cloud server which then sends the translated languages back to your device.
The company Docomo is showing off a prototype right now. But in its final forms, the glasses will be much smaller. Docomo says they wanted the glasses for tourists going to Tokyo during the 2020 Summer Olympics.
