The NBT: Life Log

Shelby: It is time to check out what is new, what is cool, and what could just be the next big thing! But first, let’s see what you thought about last week’s idea.

We told you about a trend that more states are starting to roll with: wifi on your school buses. The idea is to make your time getting to and from school more productive and to make bus drivers’ lives a little easier by keeping kids occupied.

So, are wifi school buses the next big thing? Ninety percent of you said, ‘Yes, roll with it!’ But ten percent of you said, ‘Nope, roll out!’

Now, this week, if you are obsessed with documenting and sharing every second of every day, this next one could be for you. It is called Lifelog. It is an app that is paired with the Sony SmartBand bracelet and it can track your activities, the movies you watch, the music you listen to, and even the time you spend on Facebook and Twitter. The smartband comes in lots of different colors so you can personalize it, all for about $130.

But that is not all. Sony is working on a Lifelog camera that would allow you to capture moments throughout the day to sync and share.

So, what do you think? Is the Lifelog the next big thing? Go to and cast your vote.
