Trustfall

What’s better than a five-year-old singer-songwriter? TWO five-year-old singer-songwriters, of course!

Twin brothers Max and Spencer Ernst began writing songs at five and performing live at eleven. At 19, they started Trustfall, a pop-rock band sweeping the hottest venues on the East Coast.

As their ages advance, so does their musical success.┬áIn 2008, Trustfall scored a record deal with Cherry Lane Music, home to top acts like the Black Eyed Peas, John Legend and Wolfmother. Since then, the band’s music has been featured on networks like MTV, ESPN and CBS.

In their spare time, the band likes to give back to other teens. Trustfall helped out with the anti-drunk driving campaign “Every Fifteen Minutes” at Rockville High School in Maryland. They encouraged teens to be responsible and played their original anti-drunk driving anthem “Drive Home.”

The band continues to impact the Washington, D.C. and Maryland music scene with enthusiastic reviews from critics.

To get inspired yourself, listen to the tracks below and tell us which Trustfall song is your fave!

Lyrics for "Lose Control"
By M. Ernst and S. Ernst

I called you a friend when you seemed interested
Maybe I'm wrong
You're all that I have
You said we were friends
You messed up everything
when you moved away
You're all that I have now

I had a good life till you moved away
All my feelings went numb
I never knew how you could
but you kept me whole now ahhh

CHORUS
You never let me ahhh
You never let me lose ahhh
You never let me lose control

You called me a friend
I was innocent
Maybe I'm wrong
You're all that I have
You said we were friends
and that meant everything
Maybe I'm wrong
You're all that I have now

You called out your window
that you would come back
But your fingers were crossed
I kept my faith in you but it's been too long now
I can't go on ahhh

CHORUS

I watched you drive by
I wiped the tears away
I let you get away

You never let me
You never let me
You never let me
You never let me
You never let me

Lyrics for "All My Life"
By M. Ernst and S. Ernst

I can see, as darkness falls.
The distance is written on your face.
I can see from the paths we walk.
The space between gets deeper everyday

PRE-CHORUS
And I believe you've got me wrong.
So burn all your photographs and listen

CHORUS
All my life you've been trying to tell me
what I'm missing, I'm not listening.
It doesn't make a difference. I'm different. Okay?
All my life I'm the only who whose trying
to fix it, you're not listening
I'm trying to make difference. I'm different. Okay?

Do you see me? When you see yourself?
The regret is written on your face.
I can't be anyone else.
For years I've been trying to explain.

PRE-CHORUS

CHORUS

I have been broken, and you are the reason.
So think this through
I've got my reasons. I've taken my beatings.
I can't get through to you.

CHORUS (X3)

Lyrics for "Voices In The Hallway"
By M. Ernst and S. Ernst

You sit alone and back away, while everyone's talking
About the way you hide your face, nobody knows you
It's getting darker in your skies
Can't find the sunrise
Where will you go from here

CHORUS
You're not destined to be alone
If you can just hang on
You gotta get out show your face
Just a few more years you're out of this place
You're destined to be someone
Your life has just begun
The voices you here when you walk down the hall
They don't mean nothing at all

They laugh at you
And call you names
You start to believe them
You and they are both the same
But you cannot see that
Only you can be the one who fixes your problems
Where will you go from here?

CHORUS

You gotta get out
You've gotta fight the fate of yesterday
You gotta get out
You've gotta fight the fate
You're not destined to be alone
If you can just hang on
You gotta get out

Stop the fate
You gotta stop the fate
You gotta get out
