A Flexiphone

Every year, techies meet up in Vegas to have a first-hand look at the latest and greatest in gadgets. The event is called CES (Consumer Electronics Show) and inevitably, at least some of the stuff on display there is next big thing worthy.

This year, it’s a flexible screen for display being used in a phone that uses OLED (organic light-emitting diode) technology. There’s also a curved TV that uses the same kind of display. The phone, called the Youm, isn’t quite as bendable as, say, a sheet of paper, but it does curve enough that it can fit more gently in a pocket, and you might be able to roll it up, like a map or a poster. It’s also still a prototype. But still, pretty cool.
So, tell us what you think. Is this new wave of e-innovation the next big thing? Vote in the poll now.
