An Organic Thanksgiving?

Is everyone doing it this year? That’s what it seems like! Walking around with an up-cycled tote bag filled with produce from the local market is a must have accessory. Labels for “organic”, “antibiotic-free,”  and “low pesticide” are slapped on the side of every food package. And survey after survey reveals that more and more young people are now choosing to buy organic food and produce with similar labels. 

So in honor of a holiday filled with food, let’s celebrate some of this organic love as well. Here are three ways to turn this Thanksgiving into a (locally-sourced) turkey day that will make both you and the planet smile:
