The next time you send someone flowers, consider sending them this fun twist on the standard bouquet: bacon roses! These beautiful, tasty blossoms have become very popular all over the U.S. with meat-lovers, thanks to creator Meredith Browning.
Meredith got the idea from her dad, and since then has developed a special recipe that involves specifically chosen and sized bacon that is then crafted into flowers. The stems aren’t edible, but the rest of the flower is totally up for grabs.
They can last up to two weeks in the unopened package, much like regular flowers, making them great for sending cross country or around the world. So next time Valentine’s or Mother’s day rolls around, these could be a great choice for the meat lover in your life.
So what do you think? Could bacon roses be the next big thing? Vote and let us know what you think in the comments!
We’d like to hear from you! Send your ideas for the next big thing to nbt@channelone.com.
