How do you take your pancakes? Drizzled in maple syrup? Topped with whipped cream or fresh fruit? Or how about like Grandma used to make them, with the cute Mickey Mouse ears? Well it looks like your pancake preferences are about to get a little more intricate.
That’s right. Thanks to inventor Miguel Valenzuela—aka coolest dad ever!—you can now add your own personal style to breakfast time with PancakeBot, the world’s first pancake printer. What began as a fun LEGO pancake stamper to surprise and delight his daughters, has now evolved into a pancake masterpiece maker.
Using the 3D printer’s software you can create your own design or select one you like from a user library. Then you scan your selection onto an SD card, load into the pancake printer, whip up your batter, and fill the dispenser. Finally, the robotic arm goes to work strategically applying the batter to the hot griddle beneath, forming a one-of-a-kind, delicious work of art.
Mmm….who’s hungry? For $299.99, this incredible, edible invention could be wowing friends and family in your kitchen.
