Public Napping

Ever found yourself nodding off on the bus, at lunch, or worse, in class? We’ve all been there. Whether it’s from staying up late studying or playing video games until the wee hours of the morning, sometimes you just need sleep now. However, even with all the studies saying that it’s a good way to freshen up your brain, napping in public is usually off limits.

Or is it? A few inventors have come up with ways you can get that much-needed shut-eye wherever you are. One of the most popular options is the Ostrich Pillow. Available in different colors and styles, the Ostrich Pillow surrounds your head to block out light and noise, and even features arm holes if you like to lay on your hands.

If you’re looking to completely block yourself off from the world while you nap, the Nutshell is probably the better choice. It’s a wearable, collapsible pod that you can retreat into when you need to catch some z’s. Designed by student Eden Lew, she hopes to also incorporate guided meditations so that you are completely relaxed whenever you choose to spend time inside your shell.Screen Shot 2015-01-15 at 5.34.55 PM

If you try this at school it would be a good way to sleep.but you can get in a lot of truble at school beacause my school would make me do the work I did not do. (I have to do 6 grade work)

Sleeping in public is already not safe. You’re just asking for people to mess with you while you sleep if you wear one of these things. Lol!
