Summer Readin’

By Tom Hanson 06.30.2014 blog

feature-image-tom-blog-post-whole-cover-bannerReading is absolutely one of my favorite things to do. Books give me the chance to take a step back from the daily grind, and completely focus on something unrelated to work. But with the job, finding time to squeeze in some reading can be a bit of a challenge.

So every summer, when school is out, and I have a little bit more time to kick back, I like to catch up on all the books I’ve missed out on during the school year — AKA my summer reading list. Here’s what’s on mine:

Into Thin Air by Jon Krakauer

Under the Loving Care of the Fatherly Leader: North Korea and the Kim Dynasty by Bradley K. Martin

A Game of Thrones series by George R.R. Marin

Emma’s War by Deborah Scroggins

Hard Choices by Hilary Clinton

There’s always room for more on my list, so I want to hear from you guys. Tell me what you’re reading this summer, and what else you think I should add to my literature. Also be sure follow me on Instagram and Twitter. You can also leave your suggestions on my Facebook page.
