I do not have a premium subscription, but have been watching Channel One News on the website or on TVs in the classroom.  Who do I contact about questions regarding Channel One News?

Now that Channel One News will no longer be broadcast, what happens to the equipment (satellite dishes)?

All Channel One equipment was donated to your school on Dec. 31, 2012. This included any digital headend units, television sets, mounts, carts and satellite dishes. Because you own the equipment, you can continue to use the equipment or feel free to donate, dispose and/or recycle any of it as you may decide. Please make sure that any disposal or recycling of any equipment are handled in an environmentally responsible manner in compliance with all local laws.

 

What if I want my equipment removed? 

Channel One works with a service provider Keystone (sometimes known as GlobeCast). You can contact Keystone at 800-251-4039 to inquire about removal of the equipment in your area.
Whether you engage Keystone or another third-party service provider, please make sure all disposal or recycling of equipment is handled in an environmentally responsible manner in compliance with all local laws.

 

What will removal cost? 

Keystone, or your chosen provider, can provide you with a cost proposal. HMH is not responsible for any costs of removal or disposal. We recommend that you provide an inventory of all equipment you want removed and advise your provider about the specifics of any installations (e.g., wall mounts) to obtain a more accurate cost estimate or quote.
