3D Printers

By Tonka Dobreva 03.23.2015 interact

3D printers first emerged in the 1980s, were incredibly expensive to create and were primarily used for manufacturing industrial materials, like replacement parts for machines. It wasn’t until 2009 that the first 3D printer was made available to the public, but since then, these modern technology marvels have become a huge part of our culture.

The technology behind 3D printers has been used to create both everyday and highly expensive items at a lower cost, and many people believe that these super cool machines will be an essential part of everyone’s life in the future. Check out in our slideshow below a few of the amazing things that 3D printers can do:

Seems quite odd but of course it does seem to spark the interest of some, I’m sure my friend Sam would like it, maybe he could print himself a soul and me some wings.
