In Sync. You’ve got a great self-image. More than half of women (55 percent) and up to 48 percent of young men report being unhappy with their overall appearance.
Halfway there. Well, you’re totally human. There are some things you love about the way you look and others you’d be ready to swap in an instant. Seventy-one percent of women say they are dissatisfied with their abs and 60 percent said they didn’t like their hips. The men surveyed were unhappy with their muscle tone, abs and chest.
Skewed view. You spend most of your time wishing that your body were something different than it is. Well, you’re not alone. A study found that 80 percent of fourth-grade girls are already dieting because they are unhappy with the way they look. It’s not just a girl thing either. Young men are also becoming increasingly fitness conscious, often using muscle enhancers or diet supplements to help build their version of the perfect body.
