The Red Cross recently appealed for for $400 million to help millions of people facing famine or the risk of it in four conflict-ridden countries — Somalia, Yemen, South Sudan and Nigeria. According to the United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF), an entire generation is at stake in South Sudan
“Children are already severely malnourished,” said UNICEF official Jeremy Hopkins. “If we do not reach these children with urgent aid, many of them will die.”
Undernourishment is the leading cause for stunting, or stunted growth. It’s a long-term issue that effects children living in regions experiencing famine, or sometimes just coping with everyday food insecurity.

i am trying to get my school to donate cans of food but how can we get it shipped there and how much would it cast to ship it.
