Dogs, pigs, hedgehogs … and even a peacock? Plane passengers have been known to bring some pretty unusual animals as comfort pets during their flights. Now airlines are tightening the rules on what animals you can bring on planes.
After a few accidents of animals misbehaving on board, United and Delta airlines are asking passengers to give a 48-hour advance notice when flying with a support animal, and provide paperwork from a mental health professional, documenting that the animals has been vaccinated and trained to behave properly on the plane.
We want to know what you think. Should untrained animals be allowed on planes as comfort pets? Vote and tell us your opinion in the comments section below.
I don’t think untrained animals should be allowed on the plane because it could cause a fight with another animal, and we don’t want something very bad to happen. I think the only animals that should be allowed on the planes are if they are guiding you or if they are security animals.
Yes, they are very cute and you can make people jealous.
My brother has a legit service dog and the people who have fake service animals are hindering the one’s that actually need one.
